Replacement Policy for Libraries and Schools

DVD's sold to libraries and schools are intended for multiple use over long periods of time.  DVD's are sometimes "rode hard and put away wet".  I understand this and try to help out when DVD's are damaged or just disappear.

Broken or Damaged DVD's

If a DVD is damaged in shipment I will replace the DVD no charge.  Return the damaged DVD to Video Bread, P.O. Box 5194, Bellingham, WA, 98227.

If a library or school breaks or damages a DVD, it will be replaced at a nominal cost - $10 per DVD.  Even if you have had the DVD in your collection for years.  Mail the damaged DVD and $10 to Video Bread, P.O. Box 5194, Bellingham, WA, 98227.  A replacement copy will follow in the mail.  (The $10 charge includes shipping.  Broken or damaged VHS not upgradeable to DVD's.)

Lost or Stolen DVD's

If a DVD sold to a library or school is lost or stolen, it will be replaced for half price.  Complete an Order Form and take a 50% discount on the DVD being replaced.  Write on the Order Form that you are replacing a DVD that was lost or stolen.  A replacement copy will follow in the mail along with an invoice.   (Lost or stolen VHS not upgradeable to DVD's.)

I just don't like to see a patron charged $60 for a lost or damaged copy of Video Bread.
